- My name is Jim and I am retired from the U.S. Air Force and local two-year college as a teacher and my wife, Hazel, was and is a fantastic stay-at-home mother and grandmother. We have been married for 57 years and are the proud parents of four children: Carol (husband is Joe), Susan, Nancy (husband is Donald) and Jimmy. We currently have 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

We all know who the favorite child is. Just look who is on your lap in the old family photos. Maybe I just have security issues.
Well whoever the favorite daughter is I think we can all agree that I am the favorite Granddaughter!
alright kids, now from what I see there is enough "love" in this family for EVERYONE to be a favorite and then some !!

You were only sitting on his lap so that you wouldn't fall off. You can tell who the older children are because they can sit by themselves.
And, there is no way I'm getting into the middle of the favorite grandchild battles.
